It let me have a smooth shave and it pampered my sensitive skin while protecting it from a harsh shave; after, it did not over dry my skin and actually kept it hydrated. My skin after my shave was extra plump and soft. It really was touch-ably smooth. :) It stopped the parts which weren't with a rash from getting a rash. and lessened the itch at the places where there was a rash. nice. 7/18/09
Rated 2 out of 5 by Product pump doesnt work I have bought this get two different times from Costco in a 3-pack and both times the cans would just stop working even though I knew they had product left in them. The first set seemed to work better but this last one I basically had to throw away two almost full containers. Will not make this mistake again. 3/5/15
Rated 1 out of 5 by The product is great - the can dispenser is horrible The product I liked But after using it 3 times the can just stopped working& it left rust rings after the first shower!! I've left cans in the shower for months without them rusting - CHEAP don't buy 12/24/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dispenser Issues Excellent product but I'm joining the bandwagon on reporting issues associated with the dispenser only after a few uses. Will not repurchase as I'm onto the 3rd bottle in a row that's causing me this grief. 12/4/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Won't dispense. The product itself is very good, my skin felt soft and I was generally happy with it. But after using it 4 or 5 times dispenser just stopped working. I thought I'm just unlucky one, but it seems like more common problem. That's a pity, but I won't buy it again until the dispenser problem is somehow solved. 11/29/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by dispensing problems I bought 3 cans of shave gel only to have every one of them stop dispensing after well less than 10 uses and over half of the product still inside. Even at sale price this is no bargain if I can't use it. I will not buy this brand again. Too bad as it's a good product. 11/25/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fool me once... This is the second time I have been left with more than half a can of this shave gel that I will have to throw out because it will not dispense the product. Thinking that this might be an unlucky fluke, I looked up the issue and learned that customers have been complaining about this issue going back to June 2011, and not a few customers!! In other words, Gillette has been well aware of this design flaw (to say nothing of the rust problem) for several years, but all they care to say in response is, "Oh, my! Did you try running the nozzle under some warm water?" Of course I did. Seriously, folks. I'm no engineer, but I have to believe that there is a relatively simple solution to the dispenser problem if there is the will to solve it. Likewise for the rust issue; more than one customer nicely suggested that a plastic or rubber bottom to the can would solve this simple problem. Pointing out that the bottom of the can is "rust resistant", not "rust proof" is not helpful. It's a shaving product, after all, so it is not surprising that the can will be subject to long-term exposure to water! You are half right, Gillette, in one of your previous responses that stated that the problem with the dispenser is not what you, or the customer, would expect of your product. True, the hapless customer does not expect to encounter any problems using your product, but, at this point, it is inexcusable for you to pretend that this problem is unexpected. 11/8/14
